Awarded based on an outstanding record of academic achievement, the Academic Excellence Scholarship grants an All-Expenses-Paid college education along with an academic stipend. Granted only to the top 1% percent of incoming students, the scholarship puts students on a platform to work harder and succeed further in their college journeys.
Titled "The Regulation of AI: An investigation on the development of AI and its effects on the transportation industry," the research focuses on the ways auto companies are bringing drastic changes to the trucking and shipping industries with their new autonomous software and products. I was humbled when I learned that I had been nominated to publish my article in the Journal of Computer Science and Systems Biology. You can find my research here.
Cherry-picked from a pool of 500+ applicants, ACM is one of the most selective organizations on the UTD Campus. ACM projects strive to provide students with a 3-month project that teaches them skills that are applicable in the real world. I enjoyed every moment of my time at ACM and also learned about a lot of new technologies that equipped me for future tech endeavors.
The AP Scholar with Distinction is an award by the College Board that is given to students with top AP Exam scores. In our graduating class of 525 people, around 30 people received this honor.
Created as a way to prepare students for higher-level research, the Capstone program provided me with vital research and communication skills. The AP Capstone Diploma signifies college-research readiness wherein a student can fit into any research program at a university without having any sort of prior training or oversight.
